Pentecost is a special feast in the Church year. It marks the end of the Easter season. It celebrates when the Holy Spirit was sent to the disciples of Jesus. We listened to the story of Pentecost from the bible. We responded to this story through art.

To help us be better stewards of the animals we have been exploring we have been making discoveries about life cycles and features that help animals survive in their habitats. We are discovering that everything in nature is connected. One way to understand this is to learn about food chains. We explored and created different food chains. We have been comparing and describing measurements of LENGTH. We have explored the differences between non-uniform measures, such as handspans, to measure length, and uniform measures, such as icy-pole sticks. This exploration has been a lot of fun! We have discovered that when measuring using a repeated unit it is very important to make sure there are no gaps and no overlaps.
