Learning About Recounts

Over the last few weeks we have been making sure we know how to write recounts.  A recount tells the audience about things that have happened, are a way to record past experiences and you need to make sure you include events in the order they happened.  When you write a recount you have to use verbs in the PAST TENSE and include lots of TIME CONNECTIVES.

Mrs McMahon took 2M on an amazing race around different parts of the school.  There were challenges that needed to be completed and the stop watch was on.  After we did the race, we had to write an interesting RECOUNT about it.
