Reconciliation: Admitting wrong

All term we have been exploring questions and concepts about reconciliation, as many children in our grade will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation very soon.  We have discovered that there are four steps to reconciliation.  These steps help us to make things right after we have made a wrong choice (sin).

What are the four steps?

Before we can begin to take these steps, we must know that we have made a wrong choice.  Today we talked about how this feels in our bodies.  We drew and talked about the feelings we have when we have let someone (ourselves, someone in our family, a friend, a classmate, God) down.

These feelings can from our HEART ROOM or our conscience.

You might like to talk more about CONSCIENCE at home.  You could keep reading from the website we started to look at: http://talkingtreebooks.com/what_is_conscience.html

How can you explain what our conscience is?
